A man has committed suicide at Obama village in Migori County over a love triangle involving a widow he inherited seven months ago.
The body of the man, only identified as Milton, was found dangling inside the widow’s house last Thursday.
The widow had spent Sunday night away from home, with the man claiming she was with her secret lover as protest after they had a domestic raw.
“We quarreled on Saturday where he threatened to kill me, but on Sunday when he came home I decided to sleep elsewhere as he has a very wicked temper,” said the widow.
According to Anyango, she had been living with the deceased for only seven months during which he had threatened to kill her several times over an undisclosed illicit love affair.
Mr Paul Mboya, Obama Nyumba Kumi elder, said the man was not well known in the area and has been having wrangles with his wife on suspicion that she cheats on him. The body was taken to Migori Level Four hospital mortuary.
