Man demands to be taken to court

A man in Kiambu has had enough of police blackmail. The man, we are told, was involved in an accident during which a motorcycle rider died.

The motorcycle was extensively damaged and so was his vehicle. After initial inspection, he was allowed to tow away his wreckage which has since been sold as scrap.

Although he expected to be charged immediately, the police has done no such thing. Instead they have been demanding money so that they can finish the matter.

He has paid so much money and now wants to be charged because he does not have the Sh150,000 are demanding as the final payment.
