The county under Governor Anyang' Nyong'o (pictured) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an international organisation - PharmAccess Foundation - to help in the implementation of the Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

Health Executive Rose Obara said they were committed to ensuring approximately 1.2 million residents were put under the UHC programme.

"Access to comprehensive quality healthcare will help promote prompt diagnosis, maintain good health and prevent various diseases," Dr Obara said yesterday. PharmAcess Country Director Millicent Olulo said they were committed to sustainable health innovations.
