Millie Odhiambo's advice to youths who chase after politicians

Mbita Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo on Sunday, March 18 told her Facebook followers of her plans towards having a family. The MP said that she only intends to get her own children at the age of 53 or 55.

Millie was talking in the context of giving advice to young people who she claims are misusing the access they have to policymakers. According to her, many youths who get in touch with leaders do so with sexual liaison in minds.

“Young people… get it off your mind that having sexual liaison with leaders will make you wealthy. Work hard and be a leader in any field you chose instead,” she posted.

The outspoken leader explained that being childless does not affect her like it does to other women out there and that there is no rush in getting one of her own. She further stated that she is gifted to love children who are not hers.

“My childlessness does not affect me that much. God gave me a special ability to love children who are not mine. So I brought the law courtesy of their intervention. (I am however toying with the idea of having a child when am 53 or 55. Sara did it at 100 anyway),” part of her post read.

She later concluded that if she wanted to engage in affairs with anyone, she wouldn’t get any of those who inbox her on social media platforms but make her own choices.

“If I wanted to engage in illicit sex, I can assure you it will not be with some random youth writing to me on facebook. Don’t ask who it will be with. I carry no property of yours,” she concluded.
