Governor replaces CEC nominee who declined appointment with a 28 year-old man

A Homa Bay County Executive Committee member nominee who declined his appointment has been replaced.

Governor Cyprian Awiti appointed Mr Fredrick Odero to replace Alphonse Werah who declined to become the county CEC for energy last year.

Werah argued that he had applied for a different docket and lacked qualifications on energy.
