Police have arrested 16 people in the past two weeks over electoral malpractices in the county.
County Commander Nelson Taliti said on Tuesday security personnel were not leaving anything to chance as the elections approach.
"We have officers working undercover. They have devices that they are using to record any politicians who might incite criminal activities. So far, we have apprehended 16 individuals and charged them with various election offences, including vandalising opponents' campaign materials," said Mr Taliti.
He said adequate security measures had been put in place and assured residents the elections would be conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.
