Luhya leaders have hit out at Opposition presidential flag-bearer Raila Odinga, accusing him of allegedly taking the community for a ride.

Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka, MPs Ababu Namwamba and Benjamin Washiali, and Trans Nzoia Woman Representative Janet Nangabo said Raila does not have the interests of the people of the western region at heart.

Speaking during a Jubilee Party meeting, the leaders told Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula to ‘tread carefully’ when dealing with Raila.
