Issac Mwaura hints on why he lost in Jubilee primaries despite using 29 million

Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura who defected from ODM to Jubilee to vie for the Ruiru parliamentary seat has hinted on why he failed to clinch the Ruiru parliamentary seat despite using a lot of money that amounted to 29 million.

Speaking during an interview on a local Tv on Tuesday Mwaura said that the amount of money he spent was far little compared to what the opponent used.According to him, he could have won the seat if he had used a high amount compared to his opponents.

He further said that his main rival had done a good ground work and ensured that he had rallied the youths behind him a move that saw him win the seat easily. At one point he felt that he had not had enough time to campaign owing to the fact that he was an opposition MP earlier on.

Mwaura on Wednesday conceded defeat after losing to his opponent Simon King'ara who garnered 10,900 votes against Mwaura’s 4,000 votes

He said that despite the fact that he lost he did his best but he never carried the day.He further said that he will live to try another time because he still believes that he will win next time.
