A union has accused Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of treachery in another brewing legal fight over the 2015 strike.

Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) in a letter by Wilson Sossion said it withdrew all cases it had against TSC but the commission decided to challenge the legality of the strike in court.

The parties reached an agreement following President Uhuru Kenyatta's intervention that all court cases between them would be withdrawn. "Sustaining this matter amounts to pure back-stabbing and betrayal of cordial labour relations."
