Why Lenku is best choice for ministry

Mr Joseph Lenku’s appointment as Interior Cabinet Secretary has triggered murmurs from various quarters.

It is disheartening that at this time and age, we have Kenyans who question another citizen’s right to appointment to a public office. In my view, ole Lenku’s appointment was a victory for all Kenyans of goodwill because he is a Kenyan who is not from any of the usual prominent families or dynasties. He has overcome the numerous challenges faced by most of the small and marginalised communities. He also represents the aspirations of many young educated Kenyans who dream not of holding big public offices, but of serving their motherland.
