Nollywood bad-boy for Kenyan movie

Jim Iyke, a top Nigerian actor who is popularly known as Nollywood’s bad-boy, thanks to his unending drama, is among the two stars expected to take the lead role in the upcoming My Life in Crime film. The actor has been pitted against Kenya’s Lenana Kariba for the John Kiriamiti aka Jack Zollo role, the most sought-after slot in the movie based on John Kiriamiti’s crime series novels.

According to sources within Karina Productions, the production stable behind the film, the movie is aimed at giving an international appeal, hence the need to audition top actors from across Africa.

“We are producing a movie of international appeal and that demands that we go for the best actors we can get. Both Lenana and Jim are intense. They were the best out of the many actors that we auditioned,” Janet Kirina told Pulse.
