Navakholo Mp Emmanuel Wangwe congratulates 48 students from his constituency who will be joining form one in National secondary schools country wide.

Learners have benefited from bursaries worth Sh15 million courtesy of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Luanda MP Chris Omulele also gave Sh1.2 million to Mumboha Secondary and Sh1 million to Mumboha Primary schools for development.

"We have also sponsored over 200 students who were joining Form One this year. We want to promote education through the few resources that we have," said Mr Omulele.

He spoke at Mumboha Secondary when he presided over the handing over of the cheques and later led the groundbreaking ceremony of Mumboha stadium to be constructed at a cost of Sh7 million.

Omulele said the constituency's target of constructing 270 classrooms by the end of this year through CDF at an estimated cost of Sh108 million was on course.

"So far, we have constructed 160 classrooms across the constituency. Each school will benefit from construction of three classrooms. In schools that have good infrastructure we will improve on it by rehabilitating classrooms to suit the modern types," said Omulele.

He said this was in a bid to provide a good learning environment for students and at the same time ease the burden of paying for construction of classes by parents.

Omulele said 110km of road have been refurbished by CDF.
