A circus ensued at a university campus in Eldoret when a student moonlighting as a prostitute hurled insults and roughed up a man who failed to pay for services rendered.
The man, believed to be a taxi driver, met the girl at a nightclub. And since her roommate was away on an academic trip to Mombasa, the sassy girl — known for milking men dry — agreed on terms and invited the man to her room.
Being a Friday night, they hang out at the club for hours. The man reportedly spent extravagantly as they drunk themselves silly. Unfortunately, in his drunkenness, he forgot to reserve some money to pay for the ‘big game itself’, which was yet to take place later in the night.
Contract
After a lovely evening, they chose to retire at the girl’s room where it is believed she delivered as per contract. But the temporary romance was shattered when it downed on the man that he had blown up all the money he had, and had no cash left on him when he woke up on Saturday morning.
The girl, so far unaware of that fact and still expecting to cash in for services rendered, dutifully warmed water for her client to bathe before she could serve breakfast.
The idea of bathing provided a window of opportunity for the now panic stricken man to escape. He went to the washroom with his clothes on save for his shoes, knowing that would alarm the ‘campus diva’ that he was up to no good.
But the fact that he stayed too long in the bathroom made her suspect that something was amiss, so she went to check. Being his first visit to the hostel, however, he could not trace his way out and as he was busy pacing up and down looking for an exit, the girl pounced on him on the corridors.
Hell broke loose when she realised she had been ‘used and dumped’. She began shouting at him, in the process attracting a sizeable crowd of fellow students.
Shame
“Hapa hakuna kitu chabure, sipeanangi tu ivyo, lipa pesa zangu (nothing is for free, I don’t ‘serve honey’ free of charge), shouted the angry girl without an iota of shame.
The milling onlookers, who seemed thoroughly entertained as she hustled the man back to her room, jeered and laughed. It was only when he gave away his mobile phone that she let him leave and endure an embarrassingly walk of shame, away from the hostel, as students laughed uncontrollably.
