Telling twins apart, especially identical ones, can be an uphill task. Save for their parents, many other people would find it hard to identify one from the other. Such is the case in the Tina and Rina storybook.

Tina and Rina are identical twins who live with their parents, Mr and Mrs Pendo, in a farm house. The ten-year-old twin daughters are lively and have warm smiles and charming voices.

One morning, a neighbour, Mr Jirani, goes to ask for his shears, which he had earlier lent their father. He sends Tina to bring the shears from the store.

Ten minutes later, Mr Jirani sees Rina playing with the cat and confuses her with Tina. He gets angry, believing Tina had disobeyed him. He asks why she has not gone to bring shears. Rina is startled because Mr Jirani had not sent her.

Just then, Tina appears with the shears and Mr Jirani is not only confused, but also gets embarrassed.

“Wait a minute. Which one are you?” He asked.

The twins’ lives are full of adventure. They are also kind and helpful. They find Mrs Robo sick and seated on her way from the clinic. They offer to help her carry her basket.

They also get into trouble many times, such as when they break the school window and joke with bees and are stung.
