A parliamentary aspirant has accused the Provincial Administration of meddling in Kangema parliamentary campaigns.
Duncan Mwangi on Saturday sounded an alarm of misuse of Government machinery to campaign for a candidate contrary to the rule of law.
Backed by leaders from Kangema, the candidate claimed some chiefs were misusing their offices by mobilising the public to join a politician’s campaign.
Speaking in Murang’a town, Mwangi asked Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to ensure level playing ground for all the candidates to ensure fairness and transparency in The National Alliance party nomination.
He claimed the Provincial Administration is under command from a senior administrator to support a certain candidate.
At the same time two other aspirants Tiras Ngahu and Annie Kirima continued with their campaigns calling on the locals to support their bid on the TNA ticket.
