On Tuesday, rumours spread through the social network that leading Ugandan rapper Keko, had gone bananas. The grapevine broke only a day after Sony Music announced the signing of the rapper to the South Africa based music label.
“Here I am tweeting, do mad people tweet?” Keko responded through a tweet.
One of her fans asked; “When are people gonna stop hating?” to which Keko responded: “When I die.”
Talking to Pulse, her manager Just One later confirmed that the celebrated rapper was well and sound, terming the gossip as immature.
“Kekonians shouldn’t worry at all. Keko is well,” she said.
