The G7 alliance leaders came out strongly to demonstrate their unity a few days after it appeared a fall out was imminent.
Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, Eldoret North MP William Ruto and Saboti MP Eugene Wamalwa said there were many issues uniting them as compared to what divides them.
Two rallies scheduled for Kitale today and in Bungoma tomorrow had been postponed to next week to honour Environment Minister John Michuki.
"You will be disappointed if you thought you will crack this team. This is an A-team, others can only be B-team," said Uhuru insisting he would continue to work with Kalonzo, Ruto, Wamalwa and others were ready to join the G7 team in seeking to unite the country.
"Agents of doom should know that we like minded leaders and parties sharing same ideals have embarked on a path to walk the length and breadth of the country to unite communities," Uhuru said.
Ruto added: "I wish to confirm that ours is a partnership, the coming together of people with similar ideals ready to take the country forward in development and unity."
They spoke during the launch of electronic registration of members by the United Republican Party (URP). Ruto said the old system party was too involving.
"When we printed three million membership cards and dispatched it to counties, we realised that it took 21 days to register and file returns to the headquarters. But the e-registration takes less than two minutes for the entire process," Ruto said.
