Jubilee leadership has said it will take NASA leader Raila Odinga to the International Criminal Court if violence occurs in Kenya after the October 26 presidential elections.

Speaking in Samburu County, devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri said that Raila is planning to cause chaos in the country if he fails to win the repeat presidential elections.

Kiunjuri revealed that the government has already invited ICC investigators to look into possible plans by NASA in causing violence in the county.

The CS said that Kenya's security apparatus is working closely with the ICC to form a strong case against Raila in the event of bloodshed in the country.

"If there is bloodshed in this county after October 26, we shall not hesitate to take Raila to the ICC to answer for it." He said.

The former Laikipia East MP said that NASA won the presidential petition because they had set 'traps' in the Supreme Court.

"The evidence of spoiled form 34Bs were from Nyakach, Kilifi and Mombasa which are the strongholds of Raila." Kiunjuri added.

He pointed out that Uhuru Kenyatta is still the president of Kenya despite the Supreme Court ruling adding that those saying otherwise have not read the constitution.

"Our constitution clearly says that there is no vacuum in the presidency in the event of nullification of presidential election results." He said.

The CS said that with the ongoing political sideshows, Uhuru Kenyatta might end up being the president of Kenya for life.

"If NASA boycotts the October elections, Uhuru will still remain president. Even if they boycott for ten years the president will still be Uhuru." He said.

He noted that other African leaders change the constitution to remain life presidents but in Kenya's case, the opposition is using the constitution to keep the president in power.

Kiunjuri was speaking at the Allamano grounds in Maralal town on Saturday evening when he met Samburu leaders and residents.

Present at the meeting were Samburu governor Moses Lenolkulal, Senator Steve Lelegwe and woman representative Maison Leshoomo.

Samburu west mp Naisula Lesuuda and her counterparts from Samburu North and East, Alois Lentoimaga and Jackson Lentoijoni were also present.
