Naivasha, Kenya:  Bodies of two women were found floating in Lake Naivasha raising anxiety around estates next to the water body.

The middle-aged bodies did not have any identification documents and were found few meters apart by fishermen.

The first body was discovered near the shores of the lake and hours later another found inside the lake though it was not clear if they were related.

In the first incident, the body suspected to be of a farm worker was found in Kamere South Lake by members of the public.

According to a witness, the woman had a padlock, keys and a phone charger though there were no identification documents.

“The body was found floating near the shores of the lake and it’s yet to be identified as there are no documents,” said the witness.

The second body was found floating a few meters away and was semi-naked.

The middle aged woman also did not have any identification documents and the body had started to decompose.

“The body was also found by fishermen and its baffling how it ended up in that section of the lake as it’s rarely visited,” said the witness.
