boasts of old Arab and African architectural designs with ornately carved wood, fascinating artefacts, verandas and terraces that create a restful and stylish ambience. The hotel is owned and operated by the Romantic Group of Hotels.

Apart from the 11 air-conditioned rooms, all facing the sea, there is an additional VIP penthouse strategically located at the back of the hotel. Microsoft guru Bill Gates stayed here while on a private visit to Lamu.

Inside the rooms are well laid beds with mosquito nets, hot-water showers, tea-making facilities and a mini bar with assorted drinks and beverages to make one’s stay comfortable. For the enthusiastic guest willing to mingle freely, there is the popular rooftop bar that offers both local and international branded whiskies, beers and fresh fruit juices.
