Narc-Kenya presidential hopeful Martha Karua has scoffed at leaders who promote tribal groupings and asked Kenyans to ignore them.
Ms Karua said some leaders want to polarise the country to advance their political interests instead of uniting Kenyans.
“Some people are out to use the tribal numbers to ascend to power and they are forming tribal groups to achieve their selfish agenda. I caution Kenyans to be wary of this kind of leadership,” she said.
The Gichugu MP spoke when she opened Narc-Kenya offices at Makutano township in Kapenguria yesterday. She was accompanied by Mr Augustine Monges Lotodo, the former East Africa Legislative Assembly MP.
Karua reiterated that she is ready to offer the best governance.
