Celebrating 50 years of Independence in Kenya

There will be 2 days of national celebrations to mark 50 years since independence in the Kenya. Kenyans have been asked to participate by setting up campaigns to profile and promote unity in diversity. The Kenya private sector alliance in conjunction with the Kenya at 50 committee announced that the jubilee celebrations will take place on the 11th and the 123th of December this year at the Uhuru gardens and at the Moi international sports center Karasani. Speaking at the event was the principal secretary for interior Mutea Iringo who said that the committee also plans on planting two million trees in every county to celebrate the milestone.
