KTN Prime: News : Synovate releases latest opinion poll

Eldoret north MP William Ruto, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth have gained in popularity according to the recent Ipsos Synovate opinion poll. Asked who they would vote for if elections were held now, 33% of the 2000 respondents sampled said that Raila Odinga would be their candidate of choice. Uhuru Kenyatta follows with 26 % while William Ruto comes in third with 9%.Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi were placed fourth and fifth with 8% and 4% approvals respectively. Front runners Raila and Uhuru however showed a decline in popularity compared to their ratings in the last poll by Ipsos. Raila has lost 3 percentage points in popularity while Uhuru has shed 4% . William Ruto has however gained 3% as has Kalonzo. Peter Kenneth, perhaps bolstered by the launch of his presidential bid early this month, gained two points in popularity.
