The institute of economic affairs of Kenya in partnership with a consortium of civil society organisations seeks to creat awareness on the public financial management act signed into law by President Mwai Kibaki in July this year. The campaignseeks to interogate the legal and regulatory regime that will define public participation in the matters of finance with an emphasis on the county budget and economic forum. The organisation by way of public forums will collect view of members of the public regarding the implementation of the public financial management act, with an aim of informing drafting of the necessary regulations needed to implement the public finance management law.
