KTN Prime: Nomination fees

The independent electoral and boundaries commission has opened a Pandora’s box among political circles by proposing to increase nomination fees for politicians seeking to contest the elective seats in the next general election…. A section of politicians have objected to the fees citing that higher nomination fees could lock out Kenyans from vying for elective seats. Ktn’s Asha Mwilu kicks off our bulletin with this report
