KTN Prime: NHIF CEO scandal

There was drama thursday morning at the national hospital insurance fund when newly appointed acting chief executive Simeon Ole Kirgoty reported to work but outgoing acting CEO Adan a Adan refused to hand over to him. Medical services minister professor Anyang Nyong’o elevated Kirgoty from his current position as administration director in the ministry of medical services. The appointment comes shortly after the term of the caretaker board came to an end. adan has come under scrutiny for attempting to employ his wife at the NHIF.
