KTN Prime: Maasai Mara road blocked

Tourists headed to the Mara were stranded for more than six hours today when Narok residents blocked the road leading to the Masaai Mara game reserve. The residents were protesting the death of a local resident after she was attacked by an elephant. They have accused the Kenya wildlife serivice of turning a deaf ear to their plight in the face of attacks from the wild animals.
