KTN Prime: Tigania conflict

One person has been killed and six others sustained serious bullet injuries in a fight over resources in Gambella area of Tigania east. Area OCPD Charles Koskegei says farmers and pastoralists clashed over land and water resources. A few animals were also shot and killed during the incident....eye witnesses claim the violence erupted after livestock farmers in the area let their animals destroy food crops in certain farms ....a crisis meeting which was scheduled for today between different communities in order to resolve the matter has been postponed....tension is still high in the area.
