KTN Prime: Kenya Airways downsizes.

Hundreds of Kenya Airways staff face the sack as the national carrier begins a staff rationalization program, geared towards bringing down its operation costs. In a notice to its staff members, the airline’s management says the exercise will affect both unionisable and non unionisable staff starting with a voluntary early retirement program before moving down to a redundancy program as the airline responds to the harsh operating environment in the global aviation industry.
