KTN Prime: IEBC grilled over Biometric Voter Registration.

Parliament is concerned that IEBC’s adoption of manual voter registration could breed ground for election malpractice reminiscent of the 2007-bungled election. While grilling the IEBC commissioners the Parliamentary Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee and the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee pushed for the biometric voter registration system. Justice Minister Eugene Wamalwa proposed the commission hires the kits from Ghana which is conducting its polls in December…Sam Ogina details the story.
