KTN Prime: KRA revenue results

Treasury's move to remove excise duty on kerosene and a further reduction of the same on diesel as well as the delay in enactment of the vat bill, have been cited by the Kenya Revenue Authority, as key reasons that undermined revenue performance in the financial year 2011/ 2012.The taxman collected a total 707 billion shillings against a revised target of 716 billion shillings.
