The savings and cooperative movement has existed since independence in 1963. It has grown to rank among the world’s top ten best performing movements. But cases of mismanagement and lack of regulation has threatened to derail the government’s effort to encourage kenyans to save. Tonight’s main feature focuses on the savings and credit co-operative societies sector and the transformation to make it more competitive.
