Business: Karua tell Banks to empower women

Gichugu Member of Parliament Martha Karua has called on local banks to initiate banking facilities geared towards empowering women financially. Karua said exclusive services meant women will help maintain dignity and an increased involvement in economic activities in the country. The narc Kenya leader spoke in Eastleigh during the official launch a women account by the Gulf Africa bank. The account called Annisaa is aimed at helping women to access saving and credit facilities at affordable rates based on the Islam banking rules.
