The office of the director of public prosecutions has written to the eldoret police asking for the file in the assault case involving world 3000m steeple chase champion ezekiel kemboi. Director of public prosecutions, keriako tobiko, acting on request by kemboi’s lawyer, philip murgor asked for the file for its perusal and directions. Murgor had question the speed with which kemboi was charged within hours of the incident in eldoret wednesday last week. Meanwhile the first batch of team kenya to the london olympics jetted out of the country to bristol last night for pre olympic training.
