Sports: Kenya Team: 1st Batch Off To Bristol

The first batch of the London bound Olympians comprising boxer Benson Gicharu and Elizabeth Andiego as well as sprinters Maureen Chelagat and Joyce Sakari jetted out of the country to Bristol for pre Olympic training after an elaborate send off ceremony at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport. The national Olympic committee NOC was forced to withdraw members of the 4 by 400 Metres due to visa and travel documents difficulties.
