Business: Bank of china opens Kenyan office

Nairobi’s credential as a financial hub got a shot in the arm today with the central bank of Kenya granting bank of china the authority to open a representative office in the country. Bank of China will market the products and services of its parent company to existing and prospective customers in Kenya but will not engage in banking business. The move further cements the relations Kenya has enjoyed with China.
