Business: Kenya to import oil from Iran

Kenya will import 4 million tonnes of Iranian crude oil per year following the signing of a bilateral pact with Tehran a move expected to solve the countries’ supply chain constraints in gas and oil. The irony however is that the Iran has had its major crude buyers discontinue imports from the Iran over its reported nuclear power ambitions. Just what does this move mean to Kenya’s relationship with her western trading partners?
