Still on the amendments, prime minister Raila Odinga’s ODM wing of government is pilling pressure on the attorney general to resign saying he condoned alterations to the election laws. This as the prime minister reprimanded parliament for enacting legislation that goes against the spirit of the new constitution. O-d-m’s offensive comes as parliament is set to re-open debate tomorrow, on amendments to the election and political parties acts, which President Kibaki rejected.
