Business: KRA puts contractors on notice

Kenya Revenue Authority commissioner general John Jiraini has put on notice all developers that have been evading payment of taxes under the pretext that they are shielded by the suspension of the capital gains tax that was affected in 1985. The C.G said KRA published guiding rules into the matter in 2010 that showed that all those making gains from development and sales of property as a business are liable to taxation.
