KTN Prime: Atwoli Appointment

Central Organisation of Trade Unions Scretary General Francis Atwoli is now the International Labor Organisation Vice President. Atwoli was elected to post during the labor conference held in Geneva Switzerland. Atwoli had served in the ILO Governing Council for two terms. He becomes the current highest ranking African in the organisation. Other Kenyan leaders who have held prominent positions in the ILO include the late Vice President Kijana Wamalwa and the late Foreign Affairs minister Robert Ouko.
