KTN Prime: EAC countries release budget

As Kenya’s Finance minister was presenting the country’s budget, elsewhere across the east african community, his equals were also unveiling their country’s fiscal plan for the year 2012/ 2013. Uganda’s budget saw an increase in tax rates while in Tanzania and Rwanda heavy financing in infrastructure development was key. The budgets were read simultaneously in the spirit of the regional co-operation
