KTN Prime: Gertrude’s Hospital doctors strike

Operations in the nine branches of Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital in Nairobi were on the low down today after doctors made good their threat to go on strike. A majority of the doctors defied the management’s threats to terminate their contracts and stayed away. The hospital and the doctor’s union have maintained their positions in the standoff. KTN’s Anne soy-Mwendia reports.
