Kenya's main airport- the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) Wednesday Morning came to a standstill after an Egypt Air flight that was landing at 3am Kenyan time overshot the runway and got stuck midway in mud and had to be closed indefinitely. The 126 passengers and 17 crew members were safely evacuated and the plane has since been removed from the runaway and the operations resumed normally at the JKIA.
