An obituary is often more than an announcement of death. It celebrates the life of the deceased and in the case of an obituary that appears in print medium, is a keepsake, ensuring that the those who die are given a proper send-off and that they leave their foot-prints. For this reason, the traditional medium that has worked effectively for years is favoured by many. But a young entrepreneur hopes to change the face of obituaries. Moses Gitonga and his partners have taken obituaries online, but as they found, changing perceptions about the effectiveness of new media is not easy.
