American singer Bebe Rexha has shared her pain after facing online comments about her weight. The 35-year-old spoke out in a post on X (formerly Twitter), which she later deleted.

Rexha, who has polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), revealed that she recently experienced a pregnancy loss.

"I'm so tired of people commenting on my weight," she wrote. "I have PCOS and struggle with infertility. I got pregnant, and it didn’t work out and I’ve been carrying that pain in silence. I never owed anyone that truth, but maybe now you’ll think twice before commenting on anyone’s body."

The singer made the post after attending the 2025 Met Gala on 5 May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She wore a dramatic black outfit designed by Christian Siriano, with a tulle skirt and fishnet gloves.

This year’s Met Gala theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”. It matched the museum’s spring exhibition, which looks at the idea of the Black dandy in fashion and culture.

Rexha has been open about her struggle with PCOS in the past. PCOS is a hormonal condition that affects how the ovaries work and can lead to problems like cysts and infertility.

In May 2024, she shared a story on TikTok about a painful health scare.

"Three weeks ago, I was in urgent care," she said. "I was in so much pain, my doctor thought it was appendicitis. But it was actually a cyst that had burst. I was sick to my stomach."

She said the only thing that helped her was using a heating pad. "And I think you should try this if you have cysts," she added.

Despite her health challenges and online criticism, Rexha has tried to stay positive. In a post from June 2023, she addressed comments about her weight.

"I know I’ve gained weight," she wrote on Instagram. "Humans go through fluctuations."

"Not gonna lie it does suck and bother me when I read some comments but it comes with the territory," she continued. "I’ve been learning not to judge myself and accept myself while also trying to make healthier decisions in my life. What I have learned, though, is numbers don’t define you, your heart does."
