Miss Kenya

 

The Miss World Kenya finals takes place tomorrow at KICC. With 26 finalists set to battle it out in what promises to be a competitive show, the ceremony promises to be a major thrill and will also feature a number of performing artistes. This year’s finalist will represent the country during the Miss World gala ceremony to be held in London later in the year. The winner will take home a brand new car and Sh1 million cash prize. The Miss World Kenya pageant is held by Ashleys Kenya.

The Oktoberfest at Racecourse

In honouring the tradition of the annual international Oktoberfest celebrations, that seek to bring together a multicultural audience to connect and interact as they enjoy different attractions, the Kenyan edition of the Oktoberfest festival goes down at Ngong’ racecourse tomorrow. The festival feature a beer village, interactive games, contemporary Kenyan art and crafts, Miss Oktoberfest Beauty Pageant and entertainment from leading acts and deejays.

Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon

The 12th edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon takes off from Nyayo Stadium this Sunday. The marathon features various racing categories with corporate entities, private citizens and showbiz stars among them Daddy Owen, expected to grace the event.

Sarakasi Allstars host African Fusion

After a very successful two month tour in UK, the multi-talented Sarakasi Allstars group of artistes host their highly acclaimed African Fusion music, dance and artsy concert series at Carnivore, Simba Salon this Wednesday. Charges are Sh500.

Quarterly Classical Series at Ukumbi Mdogo

The Kenya Cultural Centre and the Kenya Conservatoire of Music presents the amazing and dazzling Quarterly Classical Series at Ukumbi Mdogo tomorrow afternoon. This is a one of a kind conservatoire symphony orchestra conducted by music maestro Corrine Towett complimented by a series of recitals.
