Back in the good old days, it was easy to work out when a cabbie was annoyed - because you would generally up shivering on some far flung
But in the age of Uber, drivers have a much more subtle form of attack: the passenger rating system.
This allows drivers to give rotters a rubbish rating- or pat pleasant passengers on the back.
Happily, they can't just slag you off without any come back, because there's a way of getting in on their gossip.
Last year, Uber passengers discovered a 'hack' which allowed access to their average rating.
Now Uber has made it available to all.
So if you're worried about all those backstabbing drivers are saying about you, we've got a few tips.

Sign in and click submit
Uber will send you an email with your rating
Ratings can also be discovered within the Uber app, by selecting the account option in the help menu and then clicking "I'd like to know my rating".
You should always be aware of your Uber rating, because if it gets too low, no driver will pick you up - and you may have to get into a taxi driven by someone who actually knows where they're going.
And in the century of the satnav, those sort of taxi drivers are set to become increasingly difficult to find.
