A nominated Jubilee senator has yet again hit out at Deputy President William Ruto over alleged disparaging remarks against Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

Senator Paul Njoroge accused the DP of engaging in divisive politics. Mr Njoroge said it was unfortunate for a leader of Ruto's status to accuse a fellow leader of "kumangamanga (going around) with some Luhyas".

He accused the DP of engaging in tribal politics yet, "it has been President Uhuru Kenyatta's desire and prayers to see to it that all people including those from Western join and benefit from various projects that the Government has launched."
