Senate Majority Leader Kithure Kindiki has told CORD leaders to reveal their precise agenda for dialogue with Jubilee over electoral commissioners.

Prof Kindiki argued that though the Constitution states clearly how the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners can be removed from office, the Government had decided to give CORD leaders a chance to state their case since they had rejected parliamentary and courts interventions over the matter.

"Since the Opposition has halted its demonstrations, we are now challenging CORD to sit down and name its negotiators or dialogue team as they call it. They should also name the venue for the dialogue and the precise agenda," said Kindiki.

Speaking during a fundraiser at Roret AIC in Bureti constituency, the senator who was accompanied by area MP Leonard Sang, pointed out that the agenda should be about IEBC and nothing else.

He nonetheless ruled out President Uhuru Kenyatta holding talks with the CORD co-principals over the IEBC stalemate.

"If the Opposition members simply want to talk to the President, they can do it over the phone. Party issues involving Jubilee and CORD can be handled and determined by the party's elected leaders. The legislators have the capacity to talk and reach an agreement on any issue," Kindiki said.

He at the same time took a swipe at CORD for competing with members of the clergy to hold a rally at Uhuru Park on Madaraka Day.

The Tharaka Nithi senator warned that such a move was literally competing with God and the opposition should get ready for the consequences.

He reminded CORD co-principals raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang'ula that instead of wasting their time on side shows, they should focus their energies on wooing Kenyans to support their 2017 presidential bid.
