Kenya is negotiating with various partners in a bid to secure funding to improve infrastructure in national parks.

According to Kenya Wildlife Services (KWS) Chairman Richard Leakey (above), talks with the European Union and World Bank are at an advanced stage to secure about Sh30 billion.

“We have started some preliminary discussions about the way forward in finding significant investment to fix our infrastructure in our national parks,” Dr Leakey said.
